#1. The bench warmers-funniest movie I've watched since Napoleon Dynamite, loved it!
#2. Maybelline New York superstay lipcolor "16 hour" lipcolor-does not actually last 16 hours! It also takes a lot longer than regular lipstick to put on. It does last four or five hours or one meal, which is pretty good for lipstick.
#3. blogspots spell check-the worst ever! Does not recognize one quarter of normal English words, ironically the blog spell check doesn't even know how to spell blog!

American Idol

I am pissed that Mandisa got kicked off of American Idol, she was on of my faves, and super talented! Grrr
My new top two favorite idol candidates are Paris Bennett and Chris Daughtry. After that Katharine Mcphee, she is so pretty and I like her voice a lot.
How do I feel about the other candidates? Let's see, Elliot Yamin bores me, don't really like him. Ace Young and Kellie Pickler are pretty but can't sing. Oh, yes and Kellie apparantly is a big fake, I've read the gossip reports and it looks to be true. Bucky is OK, I mainly like him because he is a huge underdog, seems nice, and his name is Bucky! I like Taylor Hicks, he is goofy and has a good voice, he is James' favorite.

New Orleans Part III

Wow, three posts in one day, some sort of record for me. I am really sick of writing my Cerulean Warbler recovery plan, so I write on my blog instead.
Okay, so I wrote a month or so ago that I would finish writing about my New Orleans trip, and never did until...................NOW!
So next day after the wedding we went to the zoo. The Audubon Zoo in New Orleans is awesome, lots of great animals, nice architecture good plants, I would recommend. And the weather was great that day, that helps too. If you are on Facebook I put some of these pictures in one of my albums. If you are not on facebook, join so I can have more facebook friends, because James has sixty and I only have thirty : ( Okay, back to the trip, then we drove to Baton Rouge where my Aunt Judy was for a conference, she took us out to a local Cajun restaurant and I had purple beer and then had a "black and bleu" tuna steak, it was blackened and had bleu cheese on it, it was so y ummmmmy. Then we went back to the hotel went to the hot tub, and then the sauna, then pool, then steam room and just kept on going back and forth, needless to say we were completely relaxed. The next day we drove to the civil war battlefield Vicksburg Mississippi, we had a lot of fun there, lots o' monuments and even an old ship to poke around in. Drove back, went to the slowest KFC ever, kept driving got home. End of trip.

Some books to read!

While my foot was injured I imagined I might have some free time considering I couldn't exercise, do dishes, laundry etc. Of course I was wrong, and should have been doing other things and now I am behind in everything. Obviously I still am not getting stuff done because I am writing in my blog. Anyways the point of this blog is to spread news of the books I read during my down time.
Book #1, the nanny diaries by someone and someone else. This book was very good, I couldn't put it down. It didn't have any deep meaning, it was just superficial fluff, so don't expect to "grow" as a person because of it. It is more like a Candace Bushnell type of book. It is about a nanny and all the crap she puts up with from her spoiled Park Avenue boss because she loves the kid she nannies.
Book #2 Girl with a Pearl or Girl with a Pearl Earring I don't quite remember the name, it is by Tracy French last name. This book is also from the point of view of a person in servitude, I read two in a row by coincidence. It was interesting to get the two different takes on being a vitural slave by two fake people in different centuries. Sort of like the time Heather and I got two different takes on being poor by reading Angela's Ashes and Britney Spears' novel back to back. As an aside, do not read Britney's novel, it is not good. Read Angela's Ashes, it is good. Girl with a Pearl Earring is an excellent book, and so is the movie, read and watch them.
